Main developer & designer in all UI assets creation & Unity implementation with relation to UI elements, usability, and gameplay with the team. Developed mockup and prototype proof-of-concept across Figma, Illustrator and Affinity Designer. Gathered audiences feedback through surveys, conversations & observations during exhibitions. Compiled and analysed the data into user & market research documents to improve and further enhance user experiences.

The health and armor system is drew in Affinity Designer, prototyped in Figma to test out the result and then animated in Unity with the Unity Animator.

The art direction on the weapon design is focus in a minimalist design with using white color to create contrast from the background and negative space to make the design pop in a small card design both in HUD and gameplay.

Merging Magic Circle
The circles in the merging magic circle are indicating the space for upgrading corresponding cards and the location for players to stand. The first draft is in a chalk style to match with using chalk to draw on the ground. In the current version, it using the same Japanese ink style to match with the rest of the art direction. We also added in more indications after a few audiences testing during the showcasing events.

Items & Shop System
Here are the UI assets of the shop items and the UI layout design that is currently using in the shop system in game. The overall art style is mainly flat, gradient color and with thick stoke in rounded cartoony aesthetic to match with the character and background design.
